In short: your pictures and songs never leave your device. Living Images makes the video on your computer or phone. We don't use advertising, tracking or analytics, and we don't sell anything about you.

Who we are

• The Living Images app on Google Play is published by Controlled Systems Group Limited.

Your pictures, songs and videos

They are opened, played and turned into a video inside your browser or the app, on your own device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we never see them.

What is kept on your device

Your settings and your own presets are saved on your device (in the browser's storage), so they're still there next time. You can remove them by clearing the site's data in your browser, or the app's data on your phone.

Subscriptions on the website

On livingimages.io, subscriptions are handled by a Simple Reels account (app.simplereels.io), and payments by Stripe. We don't see or keep your card details. A small signed pass is kept on your device to show your subscription is active, and it is checked with Simple Reels from time to time. No pictures or songs are sent. The details are in the Simple Reels privacy policy.

Subscriptions in the Android app

In the Android app, subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play. Google handles the payment and your payment details; we don't receive your name or card. When you subscribe, the app sends the purchase reference that Google Play gives it to our server. The server uses it only to confirm the purchase with Google. This is covered by Google's privacy policy. You can cancel any time in Google Play.

Codes: pay once, use both

A subscriber on the website gets a code for the Android app, and a subscriber in the Android app gets a code for the website. When you type a code in, the other version asks only "is this code valid, and until when?". It gets no name, email or payment details back. The company that issued the code keeps only a scrambled copy of it (a hash), linked to the subscription it belongs to. Your accounts stay separate. You can make a new code at any time, and the old one stops working at once.

Using the website

• The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic browser details to deliver the pages and keep the site safe.
• The lettering uses Google Fonts, so your browser fetches fonts from Google, which sees your IP address.
• We don't use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics.

Emails

If you write to us, we keep your email and our reply so we can help you. We don't use your email address for anything else.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to support@livingimages.io. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

Children

Living Images is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
